Every athlete started somewhere and the most important thing they had in common was that they started.
If you haven’t already, make a start on your training now so that you can see the full benefit from it come race day in November.
Think of each training run like a small deposit in a term savings account. Deposits made now will be of the greatest benefit because of the compounding interest. 5km today is way better than 5km in race week.
If you need motivation, call in the squad! Commit to runs or walks with friends or family. Start easy but most importantly - START.
