Official Charity
The Queenstown Trails Trust is the Official Charity behind the New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty Queenstown Marathon, focused on creating a world class trail network for walking and cycling. A portion of your entry fee is allocated towards a $30,000 donation to the Queenstown Trails Trust for the maintenance and further development of trails throughout the Wakatipu Basin. You also have the ability to further support the Queenstown Trails Trust by donating when prompted through our online registration system.
The New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty Queenstown Marathon course takes in a number of the stunning trails, including the Arrow River Bridges Trail; which zig zags across bridges crossing the Arrow River, the Lake Hayes Circuit; which reflects the majestic mountains of the Wakatipu Basin and the earthy tones of the landscape, and the Lake Wakatipu Trail, where you can soak up the lakefront views.
