La Roche Posay Half Marathon Start Line Parking and Transport Update

If you are taking part in the La Roche Posay Half Marathon, please read these important updates:

Planning to drive and park?

• Car Park B (accessed by Domain Road) is now a 4x4 Car Park only due to surface conditions and expected rain
• If you are not driving a 4x4, you will need to park at Car Park A, which can only be accessed via Dalefield Road. To access Dalefield Road from Lower Shotover Road, continue past Domain Road > Hunter Road > Malaghans Road > Dalefield Road. This is a 10minute drive, so please allow plenty of time.
• There are no changes to Car Park A and the shuttle drop off area.

Getting dropped off by a friend?

• A drop off area is available at both Car Park A (travelling from Queenstown – Dalefield Road) and on Domain Road (travelling from Frankton).
• Please note these drop off zones are strictly drop-off only - your driver can't leave the car and walk you to the start line.

Want the easiest option? Take the shuttle!

• Tickets for the Half Marathon start line shuttle service from Queenstown (departing from Boundary St Car Park) are still available and can be purchased at Athlete Check-In from the Transport Desk, subject to availability.
• Shuttles to the start line will run between 5:45am - 7:00am. They leave once they are full, not at specific times.

For everyone - please leave plenty of extra time to ensure you arrive with time to warm up, use the bathroom, drop your bag, grab a coffee and be ready for race start at 8:00am!
